Laboratory Section for CHM 101-H

NOTICE: Due to school closing on Thursday, the chemistry exam will be given this Tuesday (12/18/2007) at 8:00 AM in our scheduled classroom. In addition, there is no lab on Monday.

Monday: December 3, Experiment 13: Molar Mass of a Vapor

Read Chapter 8 in text: Lecture and discussion on Lewis Structures during 1st hour of lab

Monday: November 26, Experiment 14: Determination of Ideal Gas Constant, R

Read over objective and lab procedure pp 153. Review Pre-Lab questions, 1, 2, 4 and 9 and be able to answer them BEFORE you begin the lab.

Print out the following 2 documents and bring to lab

	Data Sheet for Experiment 14 (2 pages)
	Revised lab instructions for Exp 14

Answer the following lab questions on pp 156-157 in complete sentences.

1, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8

Monday: November 19, Experiment 11: Graham's Law of Diffusion and Charles Law

Two experiments are combined into one lab report

Print out the following 2 documents and bring to lab

	Gravimetric Analysis of a Chloride Salt
	Study lab procedure and go over pre-lab questions

	Read over Procedure and Prelab pg 59-62
